The celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child
The celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child is an opportunity for individuals and Organizations to take stock of the contributions made towards ensuring that these children have access to health services, education and other social services. During crisis, adolescent girls face the risk of being dropped from school because of limited resources, which is a breeding ground for Gender-Based Violence.
At the start of this academic year, through TeenAlive back to school campaign amidst crisis, we distributed learning materials to 40 pupils in Bamenda. While 35 pupils in Buea, at Government School Buea Town were provided with learning materials, including school bags, amongst which 10 benefitted from the payment of PTA Fees.
Our hearts goes to all our benefactors
