TEENALIVE WRAPPING UP IN KAMPALA UGANDA, POWERED BY GPPAC
TeenAlive Association had the privilege of participating in two significant Capacity Strengthening sessions in Kampala Uganda, fueled by Global Partnership for the Prevention of armed Conflicts (GPPAC).
The 1-Day UN Peace Building Architecture Review (PBAR) 2025 and the 3-Day Annual Steering Committee Meeting with GPPAC members.
During these sessions, TeenAlive together with other international participants from different Local organizations across eastern and central Africa were engaged in meaningful discussions about core values and how to strengthen them within their network.
The Key highlight of the sessions included Youth and Women in Peacebuilding, which encompassed a panel discussion that underscored the vital roles these groups play in fostering sustainable peace. Following the SWOT Analysis, a comprehensive evaluation was carried out to further identify participant’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Moving forward, the team set Priorities for GPPAC members for the year 2025. The team Collaboratively defined and outlined key priorities, which will be reviewed by the Secretariat and shared among all members.
It is indeed remarkable to see such dedication to enhancing peacebuilding efforts and the collective commitment to making a positive impact. Thank you Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflicts ( GPPAC) for this great opportunity to partake in this significant and Impactful capacity strengthening session in Kampala Uganda.
