TeenAlive: Sensitization on The Importance of civil Documents
Civil Documents remain a vital concern to every citizen. They are created by an official government agency to establish a citizen’s identity in a country. It encompasses of, birth certificates, Identify Cards, Marriage Certificates, which are of Secondary importance.
Following the Authorization from the ministry of Justice for the production of free birth certificates for children in schools and in the community, TeenAlive has engaged in a door to door sensitization in communities on the importance of civil documents and the procedures to follow, in order to be part of this free mass production.
Overall, civil documents serve as official records of vital events, legal status, and personal information, which are essential for establishing identity, citizenship, rights, and obligations within a society. These documents play a significant role in legal, administrative, and societal functions, providing individuals with proof of their personal and legal status.
