Every Child’s Smile Counts
At our Temporary Learning Space in Yoke, Muyuka, we believe that education goes beyond books. Integrating recreational activities into learning plays a pivotal role in a childs development, fostering not only academic growth but also social, emotional, and physical well-being.
Teenalive with support from UNICEF and ECHO provides children with the opportunity to unwind, engage creatively, and build social connections. This is to help develop teamwork, resilience, and communication skills which are essential for holistic development. For children in the temporary learning environment, these activities are even more important. They offer a sense of normalcy, fun, in a community encompassed by terror and fear.
This recreational activities such as sports, dance, music, creative arts help bring the children and pupils together, improves socialization, build self esteem, reduces stress and tensions among these children
Teenalive advocate for a free and calm atmosphere where children are given the opportunity to have fun and learn at the same time without fear of retribution
