UNICEF Child Protection Specialists in Cameroon visits Teenalive
TeenAlive was today honoured by the visit of the UNICEF Child Protection Specialist in Cameroon Micheal Charley at its head office, Buea Cameron.
The meeting started with a word of welcome by the Executive Director of TeenAlive, Herietta Ansahmbom and the presentation of the Organization and its staff.
She also outlined the various projects accomplished by TeenAlive and the on going Art project in two of her safe spaces in Missellele and Mille 14, titled:
Developing Resilience: Building Talent and Confidence in Conflict Affected Adolescent Girls through Creative Art and Lifeskill.
A word of appreciation was given by the Child Protection Specialist, stating how he is greatly impressed by the level of service that TeenAlive renders to the Community.
The meeting ended with the presentation of the vocational training center and a warm welcome by the children in the training center. This made the Child protection specialist overwhelmed. He went back with a Toghu (Northwest traditional wear) as souvenir which he said he will take back to his home country Sierra Leone.
